Did You Know?
That a dog's scientific name ‘Canis Lupus Familiaris’ translates to ‘Domesticated Wolf’?
That your dog is 99.8% wolf and that dogs and wolves can interbreed?
It makes sense that they dietary needs are the same, so when we tried to find nature’s recipe for our dogs, we mimicked that of a Grey Wolf.
‘Nature is undisputable’ and this statement leads our lives and our philosophy, and nature in our view, is perfect, everything else is a copy including us.
What do your instincts tell you?
We look to nature to get the answers to our questions, forget your beliefs, and look at your dog:
Does it have four canines designed to rip and tear flesh from bone?
Does its jaw move up and down, and not side to side like ours?
Can their jaws crunch bone?
Do they cook their food before eating it?
Are you more likely to see your dog chasing a rabbit through a paddock of wheat, or grazing in it?
The answers are obvious, yet we still believe they should eat cooked biscuits or kibble. Why? Because science tells us that a bag of kibble is all a dog needs for a long and happy life.
Is science better than nature?
Are processed cooked foods better than fresh, whole foods?
Raw is not dangerous
We hear daily that raw meat and bones are dangerous for dogs, but if that was the case wouldn’t they of become extinct many years ago?
Do foxes choke when they eat chickens?
Do cats die from bone splinters when they eat birds?
Did you know periodontal disease is prevalent in at least 80% of all dogs by the age of two years, and that raw meaty bones are hard enough to remove plaque? It makes sense that these are what they are designed to eat.
Nature has the Formula
At K9 Natural we produce a diet as close as possible to the one nature has designed, and one that has been available to dogs and wolves alike for eons before humans intervened.
The outcome is a diet that will feed the wolf in your dog, that has been lab tested but not animal tested, and we are yet to be proven wrong. Why? Because in K9s view, nature truly is indisputable.
