Well when I took on the job here I knew it was going to be quite different than anywhere I had previously worked and this was certainly the case when I found myself representing K9 Natural at one of North America’s largest trade only pet products shows in Las Vegas. 
This might not seem so odd but we were standing there in full body paint except for the bike shorts and five finger shoes!
This required a full body wax before leaving NZ, a 45 minute session during which the hair was torn from its resting place, namely the arms, chest , legs back, stomach – ladies you have my respect.
Then we were up early on the first day of the show to allow for the three hour painting session. Once that was done we drove to the show and walked the gauntlet to our booth – and even though this was Vegas we still turned a lot of heads.
The whole reason behind our “visual upgrade” was the official launch of K9 Natural to West Coast USA retailers, and a celebration of all the hard work it has taken to get us to this point.
We had a great time, it was a lot of fun and we were the talk of the show. Our booth was overflowing all day every day and we had a lot of really excited retailers who told us that discovering this food and knowledge was the highlight of their visit. It is very satisfying to know that the food is on its way to West Coast USA dogs and this makes all the endless hours of work so worth it!
