Beef
- Beef is the striated muscle (skeletal and cardiac) from cattle (Bos taurus). It is an excellent source of protein with many essential nutrients (including high levels of zinc and iron) to help maintain stamina and heart health. Beef is a complete protein meaning it contains all essential amino acids required by dogs and cats.
- Beef hearts are a nutrient-rich striated muscle meat, and are a good source of thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, Vitamin B6, phosphorus, iron, zinc, and most importantly taurine.
- Beef kidneys are a mineral rich organ, with high protein and little fat.
